Pilot service chooses air-suspended ISRI steering seat
Experienced pilot registrars from the Pilotage Service (Het Loodswezen) ensure that seagoing vessels enter and leave ports in the Netherlands and Flemish ports as safely and efficiently as possible. A lightweight helm seat with air suspension was sought for the newest tender, the Mira. After extensive testing, EBLO's ISRI NTS came out on top. The customer is very satisfied with EBLO's assistance in finding the right seat!

A word:
"To understand the shocks transmitted to the crew at sea, we first carried out several vibration measurements. Whereas until now only seats with mechanical suspension have been used, this time the customer's wish was for an air-suspended steering seat. Our ISRI seat 6860/885 NTS 2 came out top in the test. This ISRI 6860/885 NTS 2 is placed on a deck rail that can be shifted by means of a control on the seat. As there is no air supply on board as standard, we opted for an external compressor with an extra-large air tank. This compressor has a capacity of 95 litres per minute and provides enough air to "feed" the seats.
