Seat belt required
While driving a forklift there is a danger of rollover. Therefore, wearing a seat belt or other safety device is mandatory. Often the usefulness of wearing a seat belt is underestimated. It is an important part of your seat that ensures your safety.

When do you choose a two-, three-, four- or six-point belt?
Two-point belt: this seat belt is commonly used with a tractor seat or forklift seat. With this belt, the driver's shoulders are left free, making it easy for the driver to look behind.
Three-point belt: EBLO often makes the choice to install a three-point belt on a seat. This roller belt provides additional safety, compared to a two-point belt and is often attached to a truck seat or bus seat.

Choice of ALR or ELR
Another important choice made for a roller belt is: ALR (Automatic Locking Retractor) or ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor (Duo Sensitive)). There is a big difference in comfort and perception of both belt systems:
ALR (Automatic Locking Retractor): a roller belt that adjusts to your body shape.
It locks immediately after the belt is put on.
ELR (Emergency Locking Retractor (Duo Sensitive): a seat belt with more freedom of movement.
The roller belt locks in the event of abrupt movement or tilt.
Both belt systems are manufactured, tested and approved to European/national standards; ECE R16, SAE J386 & ISO 6683. The standard is indicated on the product.
Seat belts save lives - if they are in good condition! Have your belt checked/replaced in time by a specialist.
