That's why EBLO - in cooperation with Arriva - introduces a practical and hygienic solution: the washable seat cover for ISRI bus seats. Designed to increase driving comfort while keeping the workplace fresh and clean.

Washable seat covers from idea to product
The idea for these seat covers arose from conversations between EBLO director Evert and Arriva. During hot summers, drivers noticed that their seats often got wet from perspiration, causing discomfort during long journeys. This problem also came up during seating instructions. Drivers tried to find solutions themselves, such as bringing towels.
Hygiene cover for bus seat made of terry cloth
Arriva took the initiative to work with EBLO to find a solution to this problem. By listening carefully to drivers' needs, EBLO developed a prototype of washable seat covers made of terry cloth. Terry fabric was chosen for its washability and universal fit. The first 150 pieces have already been delivered to Arriva, with further trials currently underway with other parties.
